Resource Guide for Transfer Professionals
As more people seek additional credentials and look for flexibility in their learning, the need for staff who are knowledgeable about credit transfer and credit recognition is growing. Yet there is no professional body or association that provides training and professional development specific to this field. To address this gap, I created a guide for postsecondary professionals who support prospective and current transfer students. To ensure that the guide is relevant to its intended audience and based on the best available evidence, I worked in collaboration with transfer professionals to identify key features of this work and conducted research on promising and effective practices in the field.
